Hotel Capitol Hill Ranchi : One’s destination is never a place, but a new way of seeing things. – Henry Miller. Such was my experience at the Hotel Capitol Hill in Ranchi. With its signature architecture, my know-how turned out to be an eye-opener. The hotel also showcased the best of modern-day interiors, unsurpassed services and catered to all of my individual as well as my business needs.
This hotel turned out to be quite an experience. Its proximity to the airport and railway station makes it suitable and famous even among leisure and business travellers. So as we reached the hotel, my friends and I were escorted to our rooms that were quite spacious and exquisite.

After taking a nap for a while, we freshened up to take a visit to the Ranchi Lake and Tagore Hill. The lake situated at the base of Ranchi Hill is an amazing spot for picnics and boating. The Ranchi Museum, Birsa Zoological Park and Deori Temple are among other amusing spots that we decided to visit.
The museum had a great ancient collection, and the Deori temple had a very quiet aura to it because of its breezy location. We then decided to go back to our hotel after a tiring day of wandering amidst these amazing locations. The hotel provides its guests the convenience of a restaurant, bar, coffee shop, health club with gym and steam bath facilities. Room service, front desk, Internet access, parking, air conditioning, travel desk and doctor-on-call are among other basic amenities provided to the guests which add to its hospitality.

The hotel has some added privileges for the guests on a business trip. They can avail provisions like business centre, well equipped with audio visual equipment and board room. One can also host social ceremonies like a wedding, or other formal events easily as the hotel offers banquet facilities as well. For dining, we ate at 24 Carrot, the in-house restaurant that serves Indian, Chinese, Thai, Italian, Mexican and Continental.
Premium, deluxe and executive rooms are among the accommodation that the guests can choose from. The rooms we resided in had a calming ambience and elegant furniture. The rooms were air-conditioned and also equipped with colour television, internet access, mini bar, telephone, in-room safe and Wi-Fi access. It was an affordable and exquisite experience for us also we get good discounts for booking through hotel booking app, and we enjoyed our stay way too much at this hotel. It was bliss in the real sense !
After getting mesmerized by the royalty and breathtaking architecture of Umaid Bhavan and Rai ka Bag Palace, I knew that I cannot explore the entire set of palaces and forts on one single day. I was enthusiastic but my body was tired. It needed some rest and break from the 3 hour long journey.
I also needed a break from my previous hotel so I started hunting for another decent hotel and I stumbled upon the Paradizzo Resort. This magnificent resort is located on Ajmer-Jaipur highway and was a 20 minute drive from my previous hotel. After stepping inside this resort, I thought I was in a dream location.

Based on the lap of Aravalli ranges, Paradizzo Resort Ajmer has the best of modern facilities. As the name goes, the resort is truly a paradise which offers the best of amenities. Upon arrival, I was welcomed with utmost respect and was served a refreshing drink. My room was very spacious and was well equipped with all necessary facilities. The staff was courteous and guided me well with a smiling face. The room was so cozy and the amenities were so thoughtfully designed that I literally felt that I was in a paradise.

After an action packed day, I was in need of serenity and so without wasting any time I took a dip in the swimming pool. The lagoon shaped pool was not only marvelous, but also very clean and well maintained. An hour in the swimming pool washed away the fatigue that was tingling in my body. After a nice dip, I relished some amazing cuisine in the resort. The best part was the paan that was served in the end. Its taste is still lingering on my tongue. Another addition to awesomeness was that I could access Wi-Fi and so I was very well connected on apps installed on my gadgets.
I also took a nice stroll after dinner in the garden. It was not only a soothing experience, but I was happy to the core of my heart for choosing this resort. I made up my mind that next morning I am definitely going to explore each and every corner of this paradise.

Apnayt Villa – A Luxury Homestay Jodhpur : I had never been to such a sublime place. Jodhpur surely had a sublime soul and the Apnayt Villa where we stayed was artfully designed in a traditional Rajasthani style. The prestigious hotel served us with extra-ordinary services. I especially loved tasting their Rajasthani cuisine. The taste still lingers in my mouth.
We could not believe our eyes and stood dumbstruck walking out of the platform, thanks to the exquisite beauty of the place. We could clearly spot the massive snow-capped mountains at far-off places. The weather was extremely pleasant as we were visiting during the summer, which was going to change. The freshness of the ambience combined with the smile of the local people and the unmatchable beauty of the surroundings clearly made me skip a bit. We had booked our stay via online at the Jehlum Resort.

We knew that it was one of the best in town and thanks to the wonderful reviews given by various tourists. We hired a car from the station in order to reach the resort. The route from the station to the resort was simply a mind-blowing one. The lush-green outfields basking in the light of the sun peeping out of the massive mountains can’t be described in words.
The Jehlum Resort Jammu is situated close to the Bahu Plaza at Gandhinagar, which is extremely popular as a tourist destination. We were greeted warmly by the hotel staff and immediately felt as if we were in our very own home. We had booked two separate one-bedded deluxe rooms as both off us wanted to be completely cut off from anybody. I was extremely happy that we had booked our stay at this hotel.

The elegance of the architecture and the warm hospitality of the hotel staff were simply amazing. After relaxing for a while on the couch, I chose to freshen up and have something for lunch as it was already 12 pm and I was feeling extremely hungry. Both of us met in the lobby and proceeded to the multi-cuisine restaurant food.

The restaurant at the Jehlum Resort Jammu was good and we chose to try a combination of Mughlai and Indian dishes. I must say that the restaurants are extremely well decorated and maintain a team of trained and experienced waiters. The food was equally delicious as well. We dozed off after returning to our rooms. In the evening, we decided to take a look at the nearby places and markets.
