The best part about this location is that you can visit the sanctuary any time of the year and still be pleasantly surprised with the number and variety of birds around. It was very refreshing for all of us as we had spent continuous back to back days at the beach. This location was suggested to us by our hotel tour desk and we give them credit for what we experienced there.

The entire place was a mangrove habitat and is named after a very famous ornithologist “Salim Ali”. This beautiful place was spread across four hundred and forty acres of land and it will take the entire day to go around the whole place. There are lots of spots for taking pictures. You can even pose with the birds if you pay a certain amount to the management.

Since we were a bunch of loud people, it was a little difficult to maintain the decorum especially after going and doing all those outdoor activities at the beaches. To our surprise we also got to see a few huge crocodiles resting around the water side.

The Sanctuary That Resides In My Memory!

The forest department has taken the initiative to organize ferry rides every morning at 7am for free but we never got to go because of the huge queue of people that were already waiting to take a ride. Otherwise, for a ferry ride it is seventy five rupees per person. We took this opportunity and went on a boat ride around the mangroves. The entire location was so picture perfect!

The species of birds ranged from western reef herons to black bitterns. The paved ways inside the sanctuary were beautiful and reminded me of a simpler time. All in all I loved the experience and would recommend people to visit during winters because it does get sticky by the end of the journey around the sanctuary.

My photographer friend got a lot of wonderful shots of the wildlife and a few candid’s of us as well! It was an unforgettable day indeed!

Baga Beach Goa Is The Place For All The Outdoor Enthusiasts!

This beach is one of the most popular beaches around Goa. If you are looking for a quiet and peaceful location on a beach, then this isn’t the beach for you. This location always has the hustle and bustle of tourists and if you are lucky, you will get a spot on the shore to sit.

This beach was part of north goa and thus it took us a while to get there. We reached around 10am but the beach was packed by then. My friends and I are very adventurous and we heard that this beach has a lot of water sport activities. We were extremely excited to visit and try all the water sports out; I can assure you we weren’t disappointed.

I particularly loved the parasailing activity. The instructors tell you exactly what you have to do while parasailing. The entire view from up was beautiful and breath-taking. I wish we were allowed a camera so I could keep that mind blowing view on paper, forever!

Water Sport Activities That Will Give You A Head Rush!

We also went on a dolphin cruise. I’ve never been up close to dolphins before. I learnt that they are extremely friendly creatures and very smart as well. We took up a bundle package for these activities and this made the costs very inexpensive.

After our tiring and long day in the water, we went to this restaurant on the end of the beach called ‘Souza Lobo’. This restaurant has the most heavenly food I have ever tasted! I tried the Roasted Ox Tongue with a Russian Salad and it was exquisite!

I was in the mood for a dessert and if you are a sweet tooth like me, make sure you try out the Chocolate Meringue. If there was anything more exquisite than the food, it was the service. The people that work at this restaurant were extremely friendly and made the food according to our specifications.

This beach should definitely be a spot that you must visit if you are ever in Goa!

This four star property is nothing short of a perfect getaway. The hospitality is wonderful and will ensure you feeling the need to stay a day or two longer. The restaurant at this hotel is commendable; the lip smacking food will enhance your taste buds! Make sure you book rooms online so that you get rooms at affordable rates!

Arambol Beach Goa Will Rejuvenate The Mind, Body And Soul!

Goa is a place that has the most beaches. It was very hard for us to plan which beaches to hit and which ones to miss. We generally read the reviews of various places on the internet before we actually go there. I find it so much more helpful when we know exactly where we have to go.

The Arambol beach goa had a lot of good reviews. People posted pictures that looked picture perfect and the write ups seemed very intriguing. We set off early in the morning to this magnificent beach. A picture never lies but the real beauty lies in the reality of things! I can assure you that this beach is much prettier in person than in the photos. No photo can totally capture how peaceful and beautiful this beach is.

Traditionally a fisherman’s beach, in the early hours of the day, you can see fishermen set off into sea to catch their morning income! We got to the beach very early and just lazed around the shore watching the fishermen at the horizon. My friend, who is a photographer by passion, got some brilliant photos of this sight!

As the day rolled in there were a lot of international holiday goers that set up their picnic baskets on the beach. By noon the beach got extremely crowded and loud. This beach is surely one of the best and cleanest beaches that Goa has. There were a lot of vehicles and scooters that were parked because there are no accommodations as such on thus beach, people had to drive or ride down to this location. A short walk to the north of this beach has a smaller beach called the “fresh water lake” and this was my most favourite spot on the beach. The peace and tranquillity you get is brilliant. This location is also perfect for a tan!

We also learnt that this beach is very music oriented. A lot of national and international musicians show off their gifts at different spots on the beach. I was particularly mesmerized by this Brazilian girl who played the flute! You should surely visit this place!

If you are looking for a nice and relaxed stay, this place should be on top of your list! The food, company and wonderful views will keep your heart at bay! We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves here and intend to come back as soon as we get the chance. Since it is a rarely visited place, there are no crowds or loud place. Peace and calm is all around!

I’ve Never Seen Anything More Beautiful Than Anjuna Beach Goa!

We decided to go this very famous beach first because all our friends that have been to Goa before never stop rambling on about this exquisite spot! After we reached there, we understood exactly why everyone loved this beach.

The beautiful ambience and positive vibes that you get from this scenic location will keep your mind entranced. The big blue waters stretch as far as the eyes can see and every person that comes to this beach leaves with only happy and peaceful memories.

This place is known as the sanctuary of the hippies and for very good reason to. We went during season time and thus this beach was crowded with people from all parts of the world. Each of these people was extremely friendly and very enthusiastic on sharing their lives and travel logs. We got introduced to a few Israeli people who completely inspired me to travel more often.

After all the talking, my friend and I got really hungry. We decided to try out the famous Curlies. This wonderful yet small restaurant had the best Mediterranean beef steaks and local anjal fries I have ever tasted! Just thinking about this small shack that served us makes my mouth start to water!

Anjuna Beach Will Show You Tranquillity Like No Other!

The beach also had many tiny shacks that sold souvenirs. I got a lot of small and medium sized Buddha statues for some colleagues. Each of these gifts was very reasonably priced and bargaining was also very easy to do.

After a hearty meal we sat in the sand for some time while basking in the sun. The boys and I decided to have a little game of sand football. A few other people on the beach also joined us. According to me, it was the highlight of my trip. I got to meet so many different people and experience their lives through their stories.

We waited until the sunset and took a lot of pictures that will remain hanging on my wall forever. If you are looking for a very relaxed day or evening, this wonderful beach will serve the purpose!

When we went here, we got a nice man to give us around five rides for 600 rupees only. It was extremely exciting and thrilling while being a light blow on the pocket. The parachute gliding was my favourite experience! We went during off season time and thus didn’t have to wait in long queues for our turn. All in all it was an exhilarating day!

My Journey Started From My Train Travel From Patna Junction!

Travel is more about finding yourself while experiencing everything that nature has to offer. The beautiful sights and captivating experiences have always drawn me or led me to travel as often as possible.

Though I work in finance and am part of the concrete jungle that is Patna, I still love the freedom I get from traveling to scenic locations. I used the internet to check all the Patna To Goa Trains that were available at the dates most convenient to me. I found the Pnbe Vsg Express the most appropriate and cost efficient way to travel to Goa. I booked tickets with total enthusiasm and embarked on a journey that completely changed the way I viewed the world!

The place I reside from is always bustling. There are a lot of educational centres and not enough pretty places. Goa was the perfect place to go to because I’ve heard that the sights to see are amazing and the entire experience will be relaxing. As I sat in the train, I took in everything around me. I couldn’t contain my excitement but I tried to keep my cool by reading a Dan Brown book.

My journey started at 12 pm in the afternoon and the two day overnight ride wasn’t as tiring as I expected it to be. We were supposed to reach by 9 am but there was a slight delay. Though I was a little disheartened by the delay, I got to finish up the book I was reading!

The food on this wonderful train is unlike any other. People always complain that the food isn’t tasty or hygienic on trains but this train is the exception. The food served was neatly packed and tasted delicious. I carried some snacks such as a few chips packets and chocolates just in case. I would advise everyone else to do the same.

Since it was the first time I travelled by this train, I really didn’t have many expectations. The journey was smooth and not too tiring! I recommend everyone to take this train if they are looking for a cheap way to reach Goa from Patna!

Going to the Gym Regularly: How and Why?

Many if not all health associations around the world have accepted that a regular fitness regimen is necessary to pursue an effective life. Our average intake of calories must not exceed our daily work output or we will steadily gain weight.

Obesity is a problem not only limited to the developed world but with the expanding service sector in developing countries like India, people are getting out of shape. Burning calories is not the sole aim of exercise though. It has many positive impacts on health apart from control of weight and metabolism.

Gym Workouts

Try not to overdo things. Start with the minimum amount of time you can give to exercise in a day. But try to be regular. You can exercise for as less as 15 minutes a day but you need to do it for at least 5 days a week.

There is no substitute to regularity. Regular exercise is the key to a better body and a better mind. In order to improve your metabolism you need to make fitness improvement a priority in your life. Metabolism affects your overall health and even determines longevity. If you exercise regularly the Center of Disease Control gives you a five year above average life expectancy.

Try to do a mixture of exercises. Do not over focus on muscle development or weight loss. You have to find a balance between the two depending on your body type. It is essential that you consult a fitness trainer, your family physician and also a nutritionist for designing a balanced diet and a good fitness regime. The two complement each other.

Another very important thing is to stay motivated and pursue exercise as a way of life. If you go to gym regularly but have a stressful work schedule you will sooner or later adversely affect you health. Develop good habits. Control or do away with alcoholic beverages which add on weight or are highly addictive. Eat fresh and drink a lot of water. Water helps the body to detoxify itself and hence boosts metabolism, reduces risk of metabolic disease and keeps the doctor away from you.
